The month of Ramadan
From the Arrahman Islamic Center of Jura

Peace be upon you and Allah be upon you,

Dear brothers and sisters,

We are entering the last 10 days of the blessed month of Ramadan. The Prophet ﷺ greatly intensified his worship during this sacred period, for it contains Laylat al-Qadr, better than a thousand months.

Let us redouble our efforts in night prayers, reading the Quran, and supplications.

May Allah grant us this blessed night and accept all our deeds. Amen

6 Pillars of Faith

The Quran – The Book

The Quran is the sacred word of Allah, revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) to guide humanity. It contains invaluable teachings for leading a life of wisdom and peace.

Islamic Knowledge

Knowledge is a light that illuminates the heart and mind. Learning and teaching Islamic sciences is a duty for every Muslim, in order to better understand their faith.

Muslim community

Solidarity is at the heart of Islam. The Muslim community forms a powerful bond that unites believers, fostering mutual aid, kindness, and compassion for all.

Helping the Poor

Caring for the most vulnerable is an act of faith and kindness. Almsgiving and supporting those in need are ways to purify one's possessions and strengthen social bonds.

Spirituality

Spirituality nourishes the soul and draws the believer closer to their Creator. It is manifested through prayer, dhikr (remembrance of Allah), and a life lived in harmony with divine teachings.

Find your inner peace

Inner peace is found in sincerity and authenticity. Discovering one's inner self allows for spiritual growth, overcoming challenges, and living in accordance with one's faith.

The pillars of Islam

Islam is built on five pillars.
